New Product Introductions at 200 Lex
The New York Design Center is a venue for new product introductions, inspiration and all things design. Now, more than ever, 200 Lex is serving the design community by highlighting our incredible showrooms and their new products and lines this season. The following showrooms have recently introduced new collections with a wide range of different functions.
DESIGNLUSH, Suite 415
The Limbo Trapeze Series Chandeliers by award-winning designer Kenneth Cobonpue captures a spontaneous moment of an aerialist in mid-flight. Fabricated in gossamer wires handwoven in a lattice pattern, this dramatic design is both an art piece and a functional lamp. Available in 3 aerial styles, each majestic fixture demonstrates + celebrates a precision of balance, illumination and splendor. Click here for more information.
Primason Symchik, Suite 1101
We’re Division Twelve, and we make things. Things that make people happy. From tables, to chairs, to stools, to benches, our bent metal furniture is built to last. Bent right here in North America, each and everything we make is the product of durable materials, modernist design, and oh-so-careful craftsmanship. From prototype to final installation, we’re there every step of the way, to ensure our pieces exceed your expectations, every single time. But no matter what we do, the best part of the things we make is that you can make them your own. They’re versatile, timeless, and come in a variety of finishes you can pick and choose. We do what we do, to let you do you. https://division12.com/.
Crosby Street Studios, Suite 1303
Crosby Street Studios is thrilled to introduce a collaboration with Brooklyn-based textile designer William Storms for a new collection of handwoven rugs, William Storms x Crosby Street Studios, that looks at the tradition of American Craft through the lens of a modern eye. William Storms is a self-described “mathematically driven craftsman” fortunate to have discovered the loom, whose work is “an ongoing effort to produce three-dimensional work in a traditionally two-dimensional world.” Storms work bridges Industrial Design and Art, and he began his weaving career with his bespoke weaving studio in Brooklyn, New York – where he continues to create custom handwoven luxury textiles for interior designers.
