Ann Gish & The Art of Home, Suite 402-Now Open
Ann Gish & the Art of Home is delighted to return to the New York Design Center’s 4th floor after the company’s headquarters relocated to Massachusetts this past August. The new space showcases the luxurious elegance of Ann Gish’s signature bed linens as well as the price-conscious Art of Home line. In addition to the line’s high-end bedding and decorative pillows, the showroom offers fabrics, drapery, furniture and select home accents. Custom orders are available upon request. Since 1991, Ann Gish & the Art of Home linens have been known for their exceptional quality, high design, and excellent value. Goods are stocked in the company’s Massachusetts warehouse for a 1-day turnaround.

Since 1944, Sherrill Furniture Company and its divisions have supplied custom home furnishings to leading designers and showrooms throughout the United States and Canada. All of our factories are located in the Hickory, North Carolina area. We are very fortunate to have a workforce of skilled technicians who combine time honored manufacturing techniques, and the highest quality materials, to hand build each piece of furniture for your home. David Sutherland Showroom, Suite 117
Perennials and Sutherland, LLC, leaders in the international design industry and the preeminent providers of luxury furniture, performance textiles and accessories, has announced the opening of an additional David Sutherland Showroom in the Big Apple at 200 Lex. Home to almost 100 showrooms and over 500 of the world’s most prestigious luxury brands, the New York Design Center is the city’s premier destination for the surrounding design community. The new 11,000 square foot showroom, located at 200 Lexington Ave, Suite 117, will feature the best of Sutherland outdoor furniture and Perennials Fabrics and Rugs, as well as iconic outside lines. Represented lines to include Corbin Bronze, Ochre, Mattaliano, Hutton Home, Porter Teleo, and more.

Markilux, Suite 407
markilux is delighted to introduce our award-winning product offering to the USA market through our NEW showroom in the New York Design Center. Located on the 4th floor right next to Royal Botania, markilux is showcasing our custom-made designer awnings, which are manufactured and shipped from Germany, to the high end residential and boutique commercial market. Known internationally for its stunning aesthetic and ingenuity, markilux as well as schmitz textiles are two brands of the Schmitz-Werke holding company; markilux manufactures the awnings, and schmitz textiles manufacture the fabrics. Schmitz- Werke is one of the only companies manufacturing the fabrics and awning housings internally elevating expectations and putting it in a caliber of its own. With a combined experience of over 100 years in the textile and solar protection industry, markilux offers an exclusive line of over 250 fabrics and the option of “color on-demand” where you can personalize a fabric cover to any RAL color available.

Pindler, Suite 615
Pindler is excited to announce big news in the Big Apple! Pindler will be relocating from the D&D building to the New York Design Center located at 200 Lexington, which is the premiere destination for great design resources in New York City. Pindler is excited and ready to celebrate the next chapter at their new location. Pindler has spent 73 years in business perfecting the art of fabric design and development. By sourcing fabrics from all over the world, Pindler provides a unique and ever-expanding product assortment to the professional interior designer. Pindler is focused on our valued customers and is committed to creating an extraordinary customer experience. Pindler offers the industry’s best outside sales force with hand placement of sampling as well as personal service and attention. “At Pindler, our goal is to always provide the best possible experience for our clients,” said Sean Quinn, Pindler’s President. “We’re thrilled to be able to offer this beautiful new showroom space to make fabric selection easier and more enjoyable for designers in the New York area.”

The Rug Company, Suite 1515
The Rug Company will open a new contemporary showroom in the New York Design Centre at 200 Lexington Avenue, in Spring 2020. The space (4000 sq ft) represents a new concept for The Rug Company, combining showroom, design studio and office to create a unique client experience. Visitors are welcomed into an elegant multi-functional space with a view over Manhattan, to discover the latest collections from The Rug Company’s collaborating designers and in-house studio. Each room is painted in a different colour, part of a palette designed to subtly inform one’s journey through the areas, with a bespoke rug designed specifically for each of the working spaces. The space also has a dedicated Custom & Bespoke area where designers are invited to create unique rugs and carpeting for their projects, alongside The Rug Company’s highly experienced team of design specialists.

Wexler Gallery, Suite 413
Wexler Gallery at 200 Lexington offers a focused look at contemporary design by both established artists and the emerging talent of today. Featuring functional and sculptural furniture as well as decorative art objects by artists who are known to push the bounds of their medium, Wexler Gallery showcases a curated rotation from Gregory Nangle, Roberto Lugo, Andy Paiko, Feyza Kemahlioglu, Timothy Schreiber, Gulla Jonsdottir, Trish DeMasi, and more. Challenging traditional labels in the worlds of art and design, Wexler Gallery exhibits artwork that coexists in multiple disciplines and traditions. Questioning and testing the boundaries of craft, design, and fine art, Wexler Gallery aims to present work that consistently celebrates formal innovation and conceptual content as much as aesthetic beauty.
