SA Baxter Partners with Luxury Fragrance House to Launch New Candle Collection
SA Baxter, known for its custom and semi-custom architectural hardware for high-end residential homes and buildings, partners with luxury fragrance house Scott Alexander to produce a new line of luxe candles created to function as a piece of art in any setting.
18 months in the making, the collection includes 10 scents meant to tell a story, from childhood nostalgia along the sea, quiet romance that never dies, or inspiration for great adventures to come. Four of the scents, in fact, are inspired by cities around the world, two of which will transport you abroad: New York, Aspen, Paris and Africa.
The New York candle features a mix of frankincense, sandalwood, amber and patchouli notes for a hint of eccentricity. Paris on the other hand, uses a blend of apricot, rose and tonka bean to evoke a sense of balmy midnight strolls under the Parisian sky.
Scott Alexander approaches candle making as an art and elevates it with its stunning solid bronze vessels made exclusively by world-renowned SA Baxter Design Studio & Foundry based out of New York’s Hudson Valley.
Each candle is specially handcrafted using a coconut wax blend, infused with one-of-a-kind fragrances and oils. The decorative bronze vessel each candle is encased in is made using the age-old process of lost-wax bronze casting, meant to be reused long after the candle has burnt out.
